Improving access to clean and safe water in Mozambique
Since 2019, the Blue Deal programme has encouraged knowledge sharing and collaboration between countries to improve access to clean and safe water for 1 million people in Mozambique.
BLUE DEAL
The Blue Deal programme is a partnership between the Netherlands and 15 other countries (including Mozambique). Together, they aim to provide 20 million people around the world with access to clean and safe water by the year 2030.
Mozambique partnership
The Blue Deal Mozambique partnership seeks to establish a system for developing and exchanging knowledge about the water resources and sanitation sector, to ensure access to clean and safe water for around 1 million people.
What we do
We’re helping to improve how water resources, sanitation and drainage systems are managed in Mozambique while making them more resilient to climate change.
Our Partners
The Blue Deal Mozambique Partnership is made up of organisations involved in water management in Mozambique. The partnership also includes a sanitation and drainage organisation in the city of Beira.

We're looking to help the ARAs stay financially stable by improving their planning, budgeting and control processes.
